RoWorld Combat: Targets, Troops and Border Defense
Choose the fight your nation can support. Compare the defending army, set the commitment for that target, and keep the other fronts in view. Use tribe captures to improve the opening, then change priorities when a player or a new threat reaches the border.

Read commitments and the remaining fronts
Combat decisions are about what you commit and what remains exposed afterward. The attack guides explain neighboring targets and tribe operations; troop allocation explains the percentage sent into each fight. Attack range separates direct land approaches from overseas boat operations instead of inventing a universal distance number.
When pressure turns toward your nation, use the attacks panel and the border-defense guidance to choose what must hold. Defense Posts address land resistance, while missile protection belongs to Nuclear Warfare. The articles keep those jobs separate so a player can respond to the actual threat rather than repeat a purchase or attack setting that worked somewhere else.

Combat questions
Is an attack percentage a success chance?
No. It determines the share of your army committed to the operation. Compare the target and the troops you need elsewhere.
Are tribes the only early concern?
No. Nearby players keep growing while you capture tribes, so reassess the opening between attacks.
