RoWorld Combat Strategy: Targets and Troops
Quick answer
- Compare army strength and the resulting position before choosing an offensive.
- Keep troops for other fronts instead of committing everything to one rivalry.
- Change the plan when naval or nuclear threats make a land-only approach inadequate.
Give the offensive a concrete benefit
A good RoWorld fight should improve your next position. It might connect territory, remove an exposed rival or reach useful infrastructure.
If the attack only trades troops with a neighbor while another player grows freely, reconsider its value.
Look at the opposing army before attacking. A map outline does not measure defending strength, and a universal force ratio cannot account for the rest of the match.
Preserve choices outside the main front
The selected attack percentage decides what you commit. Keep enough flexibility to answer other borders and avoid starting several difficult operations simply because each target looks attractive alone. Cities help your troop capacity, while factories and ports support the gold needed for development.
Cooperation can also change the situation, but allies can betray. A diplomatic choice and a military reserve serve different purposes; do not assume either one makes the other unnecessary.
Recognize when the threat has changed
Troop boats introduce a sea route, and warships can stop transports. Missile Silos and SAM Launchers introduce a different attack-and-interception problem. Continuing the same land push may fail to address the danger to your main infrastructure.
If your immediate goal is survival, use border defense or nuclear defense. If the campaign is stable, choose the next attack according to the world territory it helps you gain and keep. A strong strategy adapts to that situation rather than promising one sequence wins every game.
